Andover for Europe campaign launch

Our local group Andover For Europe launched their campaign for the UK to remain in the European Union with a remarkable cross-party event last Saturday in the High Street. Local people turned out in numbers despite the rain to raise awareness and support the campaign for Britain to stay in the EU.

Ahead of the referendum on June 23rd, Andover For Europe say the UK is stronger, more prosperous and secure in the EU and leaving would make it harder to tackle issues such as climate change and terrorism. In the coming weeks Andover for Europe will highlight the importance of the EU to Andover's economy and how 'Brexit' would put local jobs at risk.
