North Baddesley By-Election
Following the resignation of a Lib Dem councillor due to ill health, there will now be a by-election for Test Valley Borough Council in North Baddesley.
Standing for the Liberal Democrats will be Geoff Cooper. Geoff lives in the area with his young family, having grown up here. As a day job, Geoff works as a commercial manager for an international company with responsibilities across many of our UK & European markets, and he is now standing for election because he wants to join the hard-working local Liberal Democrat councillor team fighting for the North Baddesley community.
Both locally and nationally, Geoff has seen the damage caused by misguided Conservative policies and individual ambition. As he's been knocking on doors and listening to the residents in North Baddesley, the constant message he's hearing is that people have had enough of it.
The choice at this election will be between Geoff and the Conservatives. At the last local elections in North Baddesley Labour did not field a candidate - they know that they cannot win here.
