The Liberal Democrats have won the parlimentary by-election of Brecon & Radnorshire. The Lib Dems overturned a 8,000 majority to win the seat from the conservatives and with it reduces Prime Minister Johnson's majority to just one.

Lib Dem Leader, Jo Swinson said, "The Lib Dems are winning again, & this latest victory gives hope for a better future for Britain. I will do whatever it takes to stop Brexit & offer an alternative, positive vision for a richer, greener and safer future.

The party now also has the prospect to further increase the number of MP's they have through a by-election in Sheffield Hallam, which is likely to occur in the autumn.
