"Robin Hughes and I wish to thank all those from all political groups who cared about Andover as we do and supported us. The town council has not functioned properly since last May and has been brought to its knees by the bickering between the Andover Independents and the Andover Alliance Parties. We hope that the election of Liberal Democrats will bring much-needed experience and a capacity for working together. We care about Andover and want to restore good government and properly represent the people of Andover. To achieve that we will work across party lines to meet the considerable challenges that face us as Andover residents. We must demand better for Andover."
